Culturally, Singapore is a vibrant melting pot of diverse ethnicities, primarily Chinese, Malay, and Indian, alongside a significant expatriate community. This multiculturalism is reflected in its delicious and varied hawker food culture (a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage), its numerous religious sites (temples, mosques, churches existing side-by-side), and its four official languages.
